This week, more than 5 inches of rain fell on Norwalk, CT and the surrounding areas. While flooded streets and water-logged cars were obvious results of the heavy rainfall, your home may have been affected in more subtle ways than you're even aware of.

As the highest point of your home, your roof was the first structural component to feel the strength of the storm. Since the storm was so unexpectedly powerful and overbearing with water, you might not have had time to thoroughly inspect your home and take the proper precautions to ensure that no damage would occur.
